Additional Injection Features

Missed Dose Injection

The DIA:CONN P8 has a feature called "Missed Dose Injection," which allows users to recall and inject a previously set dose that was not entirely administered in certain situations. Users can easily and quickly inject the missed dose with just a few button presses on the main screen.

  1. When a missed dose occurs due to a blockage during injection or insufficient insulin, a warning screen will appear, accompanied by an alert sound. Press the [ACT] button at this point to dismiss the warning and return to the main screen.

    • The main screen will display the amount of insulin injected up to the point before the blockage occurred.

  2. After completing the necessary user actions based on the situation, pressing the [ACT] button will show a screen to confirm whether you want to proceed with the missed dose injection. To proceed with the missed dose, select 'Yes' and press the [ACT] button to navigate to the missed dose setup screen.

    • Selecting 'No' will remove the previous missed dose information and return you to the main screen.

  3. On the missed dose setup screen, verify the dose and make any additional adjustments if necessary.

  4. After completing the dose setup, insert the needle into your body and press [ACT] to begin the injection.

  5. Once the injection is completed successfully, follow the subsequent steps to conclude the injection.
