P8 Detailed Settings Menu

In addition to basic injection-related functions, changes to device-related settings can be made through the "Settings" menu on the menu screen. The Settings menu includes options for Bluetooth, volume, date/time, language, backlight duration, and temperature units, allowing users to customize the device settings according to their preferences.

Volume Settings

Go to Main screen >> Menu list >> Settings >> Volume
Use the [△] or [▽] buttons to choose the desired volume level, then press the [ACT] button to save the setting. If you press [M] during the setting process, you will return to the previous screen, and the setting will not be saved.

NOTE

Adjusting the volume through volume settings will simultaneously change the button click volume and the warning alarm volume.

Date/Time Settings

Go to Main screen >> Menu list >> Settings >> Date/Time
In the "Year" field, initially selected, use the [△] or [▽] buttons to change it to the desired year, then press the [ACT] button to move to the next field.
Similarly, set the "Month," "Day," and "Hour" fields.
- If you need to modify a previous field, press the [M] button.
Finally, set the "Minute" field and press the [ACT] button to save the date and time. You will then return to the main screen.
- If you are using the DIA:CONN app, you can set the device time through time synchronization.

Language Settings

Go to Main screen >> Menu list >> Settings >> Language
In the list, select your desired language among 'Korean,' 'English,' and 'German,' then press the [ACT] button to save the settings.
Once applied, all screens will be displayed in the selected language.

Screen Time Setting

'Screen time' refers to the time the screen remains on after the device has completed its operation. The screen turns off simultaneously with the device entering sleep mode.

Go to Main screen >> Menu list >> Settings >> Screen Time
Use the [△] or [▽] button to select your desired screen time.
- The screen(maintain) time can be chosen in increments of 10 seconds from 10 seconds to 60 seconds.
Press the [ACT] button to save the settings.

NOTE

If the Bluetooth setting is set to "On (When in use)," when the screen turns off after the lighting (maintain) time, Bluetooth connection will be interrupted. If you require Bluetooth functionality while the screen is off, you can set the Bluetooth setting to "On (Always)."

Bluetooth Settings

DIA:CONN P8 is equipped with Bluetooth Smart, allowing you to transfer data from the DIA:CONN P8 pen to a dedicated app installed on your smart device.

To activate Bluetooth on the DIA:CONN P8 pen, follow these steps:

Go to Main screen >> Menu list >> Settings >> Bluetooth
Use the [△] or [▽] buttons to select one of the following options: "On (Always)" "On (When in use)" or "Off" and press the button to confirm.

Bluetooth connectivity options based on settings are as follows:
- N/A
  - On (Always) Bluetooth connection is possible at all times (except in Deep Sleep mode)
  - On (When in use) Bluetooth connection is possible only when the screen is on.
  - Off Bluetooth connection is not possible.

Temperature Unit Setting

Go to Main screen >> Menu list >> Settings >> TEMP Unit
Press the [△] or [▽] button to choose between '°C(Celsius)' and '°F(Fahrenheit)' as your preferred unit, then press the [ACT] button to save the setting.
