Precautions When Replacing Cartridges

Only one type of insulin cartridge (Basal/Bolus) can be used in a single product. Do not mix and use different insulin cartridges (Basal/Bolus) in one product.

Before replacing the insulin cartridge, accurately confirm the manufacturer and type of insulin in the cartridge. If it does not match the pen's configuration information, it may not accurately recognize the remaining amount of insulin in the cartridge, and the displayed unit amount may differ from the actual remaining amount. This could result in incorrect dosages and may lead to low or high blood sugar levels depending on the situation.

Always remove the pen needle first before replacing the cartridge.

Do not remove the cartridge holder until the plunger has completely returned to the initial position (rewound) when replacing the cartridge.

Before replacing the insulin cartridge, inspect the cartridge's packaging condition and check for any damage. If there is damage to the cartridge, insulin may leak or the cartridge may be compromised during use.
